Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) & Global Compliance

Quality and operational safety are paramount. Every transformer manufactured by Sahara Transformers undergoes stringent quality control procedures, including routine and type testing at our dedicated high-voltage testing facility before dispatch:

• Routine Testing: Winding resistance, voltage ratio, phase displacement, no-load loss and current, load loss and impedance, insulation resistance (IR), separate source voltage withstand, and induced overvoltage testing.
• Type & Special Tests: Lightning impulse voltage test, temperature rise test, noise level test, short circuit withstand test capability, and Dissolved Gas Analysis (DGA).
• Third-Party Inspection Support: We welcome third-party inspection agencies including SGS, Bureau Veritas (BV), TUV, and Intertek for factory audits and FAT witnessing.
